For the third year in a row, DisneyHand is the headline sponsor for Capital Radio's Help a London Child Christmas Appeal (HALCCA). The charity provides yearlong financial support to projects for children and families within greater London.

In 2004, a record year for contributions and VoluntEARS, each of Disney’s UK businesses have contributed to HALCCA; including £455,000 in cash and in-kind donations (from BVHE, WDW and Disney Store) and the efforts of approximately 119 Disney VoluntEARS who work at the warehouse and distribute toys and food. On the Disney VoluntEARS last day in the warehouse, Michael Eisner, CEO of The Walt Disney Company and David Mansfield, Chief Executive of Capital Radio, pitched in to help sort toys and food for charity pick-up.
