Jiminy Cricket serves as the official conscience for Disney's Environmentality programs, reminding employees that each person plays a critical role in protecting the environment and that every little bit makes a big difference.
At The Walt Disney Company, we believe that respect for the environment is an important part of how we do business. Disney's Environmentality is the attitude and commitment to do what is right for the environment.
Winnie the Pooh and the Woodland Trust

DisneyHand with Winnie the Pooh and Friends are supporting the Woodland Trust in 2005. Together we are enabling 5,000 trees to be planted by children across the UK as part of the Tree for All campaign. To kick off the tree-planting festivities, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, the stars of the new stage show Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh, visited primary schools in Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff children create their own miniature Hundred Acre Wood.

In Kind Direct and Disney
In the UK, Disney has partnered with In Kind Direct and in fact was their first donor when operations began in 1997. So, instead of much-needed goods and equipment occupying valuable storage space or going to landfill, they can go to a huge range of deserving causes. In Kind Direct also runs a Retail Donation Initiative (RDI) with Disney Store, matching local stores to charities all over the UK who are then able to make regular pick-ups of goods.

Environmentality in the Local Community
In 2002, Disney VoluntEARS in Hammersmith adopted a portion of the foreshore along the Thames under the Hammersmith Bridge through the charity Thames 21. Every quarter, VoluntEARS and their families pick up rubbish and learn about the river Thames environment.
